Quick answer
The Cryptkins Cosmic Cerberus is a limited-edition Cryptozoic Exclusive vinyl figure with only 300 units produced, featuring translucent glitter paint and a foil exclusive sticker.
Why the Cosmic variant stands out
The Cosmic series is known for its translucent paint and glitter finish, making each figure visually distinct from standard releases. The Cerberus variant continues that tradition with a shimmering, see-through look that catches light differently depending on the angle.
Because each figure is hand-finished, slight variations in glitter density and paint application are normal. This adds to the uniqueness of your individual piece.
What to expect from the unboxing experience
The figure comes in a window box with a foil 'Exclusive Species' sticker, which immediately signals its rarity. The packaging is designed for display as well as protection, so you can keep it sealed or carefully open it to inspect the figure.
Inside, the figure is secured with plastic inserts. Take care when removing it to avoid scratching the translucent paint. The box also includes a small card or insert with the Cryptkins branding.
Frequently asked questions
How limited is the Cosmic Cerberus?
Only 300 units were produced worldwide, and it is a Cryptozoic Exclusive, meaning it is only sold through Cryptozoic's own online store and at events. Once gone, there will be no restock.
What makes the Cosmic variant different from standard Cryptkins?
The Cosmic series uses translucent paint with glitter embedded in the vinyl, creating a shimmering, semi-transparent effect. Standard figures use opaque paint without glitter. The packaging also features a foil 'Exclusive Species' sticker.
Can I order it outside the US and Canada?
No, shipping is restricted to the United States and Canada only. International collectors will need a local forwarding address or a friend in those countries to receive the package.
Is there a purchase limit?
Yes, there is a limit of 2 per customer. This helps ensure more collectors have a chance to acquire one, but it also means you cannot buy in bulk for resale.
How should I display or protect the figure?
Because the translucent paint can scratch easily, keep the figure in its window box if you want to preserve its condition. If you take it out, place it on a soft, dust-free surface away from direct sunlight to prevent fading.
