Quick answer

If you want a budget-friendly Ben 10 figure with chase potential, go for the Thrilljoy PIX! Ben 10 (UCC Exclusive). If you prefer the hand-painted prototype appeal of Funko Proto, stick with that line—but expect to pay more and accept higher risk.

What makes each collectible different

Funko Proto figures are one-of-a-kind hand-painted prototypes used for production reference. They offer a unique connection to the manufacturing process but are not mass-produced and rarely come with official packaging.

Thrilljoy PIX! figures are stylized vinyl collectibles with a consistent design language. The Ben 10 edition is a UCC Exclusive limited to 6,000 pieces, giving it a clear rarity cap that proto figures lack.

Rarity and chase odds

The Thrilljoy PIX! Ben 10 has a stated LE6000, meaning only 6,000 units exist. It also includes a chance of chase and super chase variants, with the super chase limited to just 48 pieces—making it a true grail for dedicated hunters.

Funko Proto Ben Tennyson has no published edition size. Since protos are production samples, their availability is unpredictable, and they rarely surface on the secondary market. This makes them harder to plan around if you're building a collection with specific goals.

Trade-offs at a glance

  • Budget: Thrilljoy PIX! Ben 10 is priced at $12.60 (compare at $20.00), making it an affordable entry point. Funko Proto Ben Tennyson typically commands a much higher price due to its one-of-a-kind nature. If budget is your priority, the Thrilljoy PIX! is the clear choice.
  • Rarity transparency: Thrilljoy PIX! has a known LE6000, while Funko Proto has no published edition size. The proto's rarity is real but undefined, which can make valuation tricky. For predictable scarcity, go with the Thrilljoy PIX!
  • Chase excitement: Thrilljoy PIX! offers chase and super chase variants (48-piece super chase), adding a lottery-like thrill. Funko Proto has no chase system—it's a single unique piece. If you love chase hunting, the Thrilljoy PIX! is the better fit.
  • Collector prestige: Funko Proto Ben Tennyson is a true production artifact with hand-painted details, appealing to hardcore collectors who value the story behind the figure. Thrilljoy PIX! is a mass-produced (but limited) vinyl with a playful aesthetic. For display and story, the proto wins; for play and affordability, the PIX! wins.
