Quick answer

If you want a versatile display piece with a unique baby accessory, go with Angela. If you prefer a battle-scarred veteran with a commanding presence, Hudson is your pick.

Character background and appeal

Angela is the daughter of Goliath and Demona, making her a key figure in the Gargoyles saga. Her Ultimate figure includes a baby version of herself, adding a storytelling element to your shelf. Hudson, the former leader of the clan, brings a weathered, one-eyed look that speaks to his long history of leadership and sacrifice.

Trade-offs at a glance

  • Angela's baby accessory: Included baby Angela adds a unique display option not found in most NECA figures. It's a bonus for collectors who enjoy diorama or story-driven setups.
  • Hudson's character design: Hudson's blind eye and veteran look offer a distinct aesthetic that stands out in a lineup. If you prefer gritty, experienced characters, he delivers.
  • Articulation and poseability: Both figures feature full articulation, so posing options are similar. Your choice depends more on character preference and accessory value. If articulation is your top priority, either figure works—focus on the character and extras.
