Quick answer
The S.H.Figuarts Satoru Gojo reissue is identical in design and articulation to the original release. The main difference is availability: the reissue is a pre-order with a $5 non-refundable deposit, while the original is sold out on the secondary market at higher prices.
What the reissue offers
The reissue of the Jujutsu Kaisen S.H.Figuarts Satoru Gojo (Tokyo Jujutsu High School) figure gives collectors a second chance to secure this popular action figure. It is a pre-order item with an estimated arrival in April 2027. The total cost is $84.99 plus shipping, with a $5 non-refundable deposit required to reserve your order. The deposit applies to the total cost, so you pay the remaining $79.99 plus shipping when the item arrives.
What has not changed
Based on available information, the reissue uses the same sculpt, paint applications, and articulation as the original 2023 release. There are no announced changes to the figure itself. If you already own the original, the reissue will not offer a different experience.
Trade-offs at a glance
- Availability: The reissue is available for pre-order now; the original is sold out at retail and only available on the aftermarket at inflated prices. If you missed the original, the reissue is your most reliable path to get the figure at a fair price.
- Figure differences: No announced changes to the figure itself. The reissue is a straight re-release of the original design. If you already own the original, there is no reason to buy the reissue unless you want a second copy for display.
- Payment timing: Original buyers paid the full price upfront. Reissue buyers pay a $5 deposit now and the remaining balance on arrival in 2027. The deposit model spreads out the cost but requires you to remember to pay the balance when invoiced.
