Quick answer
If you want a practical everyday way to show Hill City Howlers pride, the Pilsner Bottle Opener Magnet is the clear choice. For a more traditional collectible that travels on hats or bags, go with the 434 Is For Baseball Lovers Collector Pin.
Function vs. display: which matters more?
The bottle opener magnet does double duty: it opens your drink and sticks to the fridge, keeping your fandom visible without taking up shelf space. The collector pin, on the other hand, is purely decorative and best suited for display on fabric or a pin board.
Price point and gift fit
At $7.80 (regularly $12.00), the bottle opener magnet offers strong value for a functional novelty gift. The pin at $5.68 (regularly $8.00) is more affordable but works best as a small add-on or stocking stuffer. Neither item requires batteries or special care, making them low-maintenance additions to any fan's gear.
How to decide between the two
- Choose the bottle opener magnet if: you want a functional item that lives on your fridge and gets used daily. It's ideal for home bars, dorms, or as a conversation-starting kitchen magnet. Best for fans who prioritize usefulness over display-only collectibles.
- Choose the collector pin if: you prefer a lightweight, portable accessory that can be pinned to different items. It's a great pick for kids, backpack decor, or game-day outfit customization. Best for fans who want low-commitment, mobile fandom.
- Consider buying both if: you are assembling a small Howlers gift set or want to cover both practical and display needs. The combined cost is under $14, making it an affordable bundle for any fan. Both items complement each other without redundancy.
