How to install the Slingster Pull Tab Kit

  1. 1. Remove the existing pull tab: Unthread the old ITW Zipline Orbit tab (or any other tab) from your Slingster's adjustment loop. If your sling has a buckle, open it to slide the tab off easily. Common mistake: Trying to force the new tab over the loop without removing the old one first can damage the rubber.
  2. 2. Thread the new pull tab: Feed the narrow end of the Slingster Pull Tab through the adjustment loop on your sling. The ribbed face should face outward for best grip. Checkpoint: Ensure the tab is oriented so the ribs point away from your body for easy thumb access.
  3. 3. Secure with the stainless steel fastener: Insert the black stainless-steel fastener through the tab's mounting hole and tighten it snugly. Do not overtighten—the tab needs to pivot slightly for smooth adjustment. Common mistake: Overtightening the fastener can restrict the tab's movement, making one-handed adjustments difficult.
