Quick Answer
Choose between in-box or out-of-box display based on your space and preference, then use a sturdy shelf or display case to keep your Michael Scott #1773 figure safe and visible.
In-Box vs. Out-of-Box: What Works for You
Keeping your Michael Scott #1773 in the box preserves the original packaging and makes it easy to stack or hang, but it takes up more space and can hide the figure's details. Out-of-box display shows off the figure's design but leaves it exposed to dust and accidental bumps. Consider your room layout and how much maintenance you're willing to do.
Shelf Placement and Lighting
Place the figure at eye level so it's easy to appreciate, and avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading. Use a shelf with a lip or a display case to reduce the risk of falls. If you have multiple The Office Pops, group them by scene or character for a cohesive look.
Step-by-Step Display Setup
- Decide on In-Box or Out-of-Box: Choose to keep the figure in its box for protection and easy stacking, or remove it to display the full detail. If you go out-of-box, store the box and insert in a safe place in case you want to resell later. Remember that out-of-box display requires more dusting and careful handling.
- Select a Stable Display Spot: Pick a flat, level surface away from edges and high-traffic areas. Use a shelf with a guard rail or a display case to prevent accidental knocks. Check that the shelf can support the weight and is not in direct sunlight.
- Arrange the Figure and Add Protection: Position the figure upright and centered. If out-of-box, consider using a clear acrylic stand or a small dust cover. For in-box, use a plastic protector to keep the box in mint condition. Periodically dust the figure and check for any signs of wear or fading.
