Quick answer
Look for the printed best-by date on the back or bottom of each pouch inside your bundle. That date tells you how long the cereal will stay at its peak quality.
Why packaging dates matter for cereal bundles
Cereal bundles like the Cereal Best Seller Bundle or Ultimate Favorites Bundle contain multiple pouches that may have different production runs. Each pouch carries its own best-by date, so checking individually helps you plan which to eat first.
Best-by dates are about quality, not safety. After that date, the cereal may lose crunch or flavor but is still safe to eat if stored properly.
Where to find the date on each pouch
Catalina Crunch prints the best-by date on the back panel near the bottom or on the bottom seam of the pouch. The format is typically month/day/year (e.g., 06/15/2027).
If the date is hard to read due to printing or creases, gently flatten the pouch and tilt it under good light. Avoid tearing the pouch to find the date.
Steps to identify and use packaging dates
- Find the date on each pouch: Locate the printed best-by date on the back or bottom of the pouch. It is usually a small stamp in black or white ink. If the date is missing or illegible, contact Catalina Crunch customer support with the lot code (if visible) for clarification.
- Sort pouches by date: Arrange the pouches in order from earliest to latest best-by date. Eat the ones with the nearest date first to enjoy optimal crunch and flavor. Pouches with the same date are fine to eat in any order — no need to overthink it.
- Store opened pouches properly: Once opened, transfer any uneaten cereal to an airtight container or reseal the pouch tightly. Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Do not refrigerate cereal — moisture can cause sogginess. Use within 2-3 weeks after opening for best texture.
