Quick answer
Adding extra dividers to your Euro Card Organizer lets you separate cards from different games in one box. Pair them with snug-fitting card sleeves to keep every deck protected and easy to grab.
Why extra dividers matter
The Euro Card Organizer ships with a few dividers, but if you own more than one game that uses mini euro cards (like Ticket to Ride USA or St. Petersburg), those built-in dividers fill up fast. Extra dividers let you expand without buying a second organizer.
The dividers are designed for the Hobby Lobby Wooden Artist Case (#125005). If you have an older organizer model (ORG010), you need a different divider set (DIV026), so check your case before ordering.
Choosing the right sleeves
Card sleeves add a layer of protection and make shuffling easier. For mini euro cards (1.77" x 2.67"), pick sleeves that match that exact size so they don't slide around inside the organizer slot.
Archival-safe, acid-free sleeves prevent yellowing over time. A pack of 100 covers a typical game's worth of cards, with plenty left for extras.
How to set up your organizer with extra dividers
- Remove the existing organizer tray from the case: Pull the Euro Card Organizer tray out of the Hobby Lobby Wooden Artist Case. Set it on a flat surface so you can see all the slots. Work over a clean table so small parts don't roll away.
- Sleeve each card deck: Slide each card into a mini euro card sleeve. Press the flap down gently to seal it. Do this for every deck you plan to store in the organizer. If a sleeve feels too tight, don't force it — check that you have the correct mini euro size (45mm x 68mm).
- Insert the extra dividers into empty slots: Take one extra divider and slide it into an empty slot in the organizer tray. Push it all the way down until it sits flush with the bottom. Repeat for each new section you want to create. Dividers can bend if you force them at an angle — insert them straight to keep them flat.
- Place sleeved decks behind the dividers: Put each sleeved deck into the slot directly behind its divider. Stand the cards on their bottom edge so the divider labels face forward. Stack no more than one deck per slot to avoid bulging the tray.
- Label each divider for quick identification: Use a dry-erase marker or small adhesive label on the top tab of each divider. Write the game name or a short code so you can grab the right deck at a glance. Test the marker on a corner first — some permanent markers can bleed through thin plastic.
- Return the tray to the case and test the fit: Slide the loaded tray back into the Wooden Artist Case. Close the lid and check that nothing shifts or presses against the top. If the lid doesn't close fully, remove one deck or switch to thinner sleeves.
