Quick answer

Use Hydra Pro to let a spectator freely think of a word, card, or number, then check your Instagram profile on their own phone to see their thought already displayed.

Why Hydra Pro works for card magic and mentalism

Hydra Pro is a prediction app that updates your Instagram bio in real time based on a spectator's freely chosen thought. Unlike many gimmicks, it requires no forces, no fake apps, and you never touch their phone. This makes it ideal for modern, contactless routines where the spectator feels completely in control.

When to choose a different method

Hydra Pro depends on the spectator having a smartphone and being willing to check your Instagram profile. If your audience is offline or you prefer a physical prediction (e.g., an envelope), this app won't fit. It also requires a stable internet connection for real-time updates.

Step-by-step guide: Using Hydra Pro in your routine

  1. Set up your Hydra Pro account and Instagram link: Purchase and install Hydra Pro. Follow the in-app instructions to connect it to your Instagram account. Test the bio update with a sample prediction (e.g., 'Queen of Hearts') to ensure it works before performing. Always run a test with a friend's phone before a live show to confirm the bio updates correctly.
  2. Introduce the prediction naturally in your routine: During your card magic or mentalism set, ask a spectator to think of a card, word, or number. Hand them nothing—just instruct them to open Instagram, go to your profile, and read what's there. The Hydra Pro updates your bio in real time to match their thought. Common mistake: Over-explaining the app. Keep the method invisible; let the reveal feel like pure mind reading.
  3. Handle the reveal and audience reaction: Once the spectator reads the prediction aloud, let the moment breathe. Avoid immediately explaining how it works. If asked, say something like 'It's a combination of psychology and technology' and move on to the next effect. If the bio doesn't update (rare but possible), have a backup prediction or a joke ready to keep the flow smooth.
