How to fill and use a Zig-Zag Rose Cone
- Open the tube and remove the cone: Twist off the cap of the Zig-Zag Rose Cone tube. Slide out the cone and the packing tool. The humidity pack stays in the tube to protect any unused cones. Don't throw away the humidity pack — keep it in the tube to preserve freshness.
- Grind your herb: Use a grinder to break your herb into an even, medium-fine consistency. Too coarse and it won't pack evenly; too fine and it may clog the cone. A consistent grind helps the cone burn evenly and prevents runs.
- Fill the cone using the packing tool: Hold the cone upright with the open end facing up. Use the packing tool to gently push small amounts of herb into the cone. Tamp lightly after each addition — don't over-pack or the draw will be too tight. Fill to about 1/8 inch from the top to leave room for twisting the end closed.
