Quick answer
The Legends of Lucha Libre Solar figure is a must-have for lucha libre fans and collectors who value articulation and display versatility, thanks to its 32+ points of articulation and included accessories.
Why Solar stands out in the Legends of Lucha Libre line
Solar is a legendary luchador, celebrating 40 years in the ring in 2025. He belongs to the rare class of 'Maestros del Maestros'—masters of the masters—which adds historical weight to this figure. For collectors, owning a figure of a wrestler with this pedigree is a way to honor lucha libre's rich tradition.
The figure captures Solar's iconic look with a removable ring entrance shoulder pads with cape, allowing you to display him in his dramatic entrance pose or in a ready-to-fight stance. The alternate head and three sets of interchangeable hands give you multiple display options, making it easy to recreate classic matches or create your own.
Articulation and playability: more than just a display piece
With more than 32 points of articulation, this 1:12 scale figure is built for action. Whether you want to pose Solar in a high-flying move or a grounded submission hold, the articulation gives you the freedom to do so. This makes it not only a collector's item but also a fun figure for those who enjoy dynamic posing.
The included trophy is a nice touch, letting you recreate victory scenes or add a championship feel to your display. The combination of articulation and accessories means you can switch between display modes without needing extra parts.
Decision rules for buying the Solar figure
- If you're a lucha libre history buff: Solar's 40-year legacy and 'Maestro de Maestros' status make this figure a meaningful tribute. It's a way to own a piece of wrestling history. Check if you already have figures of other luchadores to build a themed collection.
- If you value articulation for dynamic posing: With over 32 points of articulation, this figure is ideal for action poses. If you enjoy recreating matches, this is a strong choice. Consider how many display slots you have for multiple poses.
- If you prefer minimal accessories: The figure comes with a cape, alternate head, trophy, and three hand sets. If you like swapping parts, this is great; if not, you might find it overwhelming. Think about storage for the extra parts if you're not a customizer.
