Quick answer
The Little Armory Megami Device Accessories Set AR adds realistic 1/24 scale firearms and tactical gear to compatible Megami Device kits. It's a straightforward upgrade for builders who want more grounded weapon options without heavy modification.
What this set includes and why it matters
This collaboration between Tomytec's Little Armory and Kotobukiya's Megami Device lines delivers an AR assault rifle, a handgun, a holster, a magazine pouch, a rifle holder, and attachments. The holster and rifle holder are specifically designed to fit the included guns, which means you get a snug, display-ready setup without guesswork.
The 1/24 scale matches standard Megami Device figures, so the proportions look natural in hand or on a shelf. If you have built other Little Armory kits, the assembly style and plastic quality will feel familiar.
Limitations to consider
The set is not a standalone figure or a full weapon system. It only includes the parts listed, so you will need a compatible Megami Device kit to attach them to. The rifle holder and holster are designed for the included guns, not for third-party accessories, which limits cross-kit compatibility.
Assembly requires basic model kit skills—parts come on sprues and need trimming and fitting. Beginners should expect a moderate challenge, especially with small parts like the magazine pouch.
Decision rules for this set
- Compatibility check: Confirm your Megami Device kit has standard 1/24 scale hands and attachment points. Most recent releases work, but older or non-standard kits may need minor fitting.
- Assembly difficulty: Parts require trimming from sprues and careful fitting. Small items like the magazine pouch need tweezers and a steady hand. Plan for a 30–60 minute session.
- Display vs. play: The holster and rifle holder are designed for static display. Moving parts are limited, so this set is best for shelf poses rather than frequent handling. If you plan to pose your figure often, consider reinforcing attachment points with a dab of plastic cement.
- Value for money: At a catalog price of USD 18.96 (compared to USD 29.63), you get a dedicated weapon set at a discount. It is cheaper than buying individual Little Armory kits and adapting them yourself.
