Quick Answer

If you're a Marvel United: X-Men fan who loves Deadpool, this Kickstarter expansion is a must-have—it adds both Deadpool and the exclusive Lady Deadpool character. Just remember you'll need the core game to use it.

Why This Expansion Stands Out

This isn't just another character pack. The Kickstarter special includes Lady Deadpool, a character you won't find in retail versions. That exclusivity makes it a collector's item and a fun twist for your games.

With a Board Game Geek rating of 8.00, players clearly enjoy what this expansion brings to the table. It's a strong addition for groups of 1 to 5 players, offering flexibility whether you play solo or with friends.

What You Need to Know Before Buying

This expansion requires the Marvel United: X-Men core game—it's not a standalone experience. If you don't own the core game yet, factor that into your decision.

Also, note that paid add-ons from the Kickstarter campaign are not included unless stated otherwise. So what you see in the box is what you get—Deadpool, Lady Deadpool, and the expansion content.

Decision Rules for Buying the Deadpool Expansion

  • Own the Core Game?: If you already own Marvel United: X-Men, this expansion is a no-brainer for adding Deadpool and Lady Deadpool to your roster. Check your shelf before ordering—this won't work as a standalone game.
  • Collecting Kickstarter Exclusives?: Lady Deadpool is an exclusive figure, so if you're a completionist, this is your only chance to get her. Don't wait too long—exclusives can sell out.
  • Playing Solo or with Friends?: Supports 1 to 5 players, so it's great for solo sessions or game nights with a small group. Consider your typical group size to ensure it fits your gaming habits.
