Quick Answer
Yes, the MB450 Pushchair is suitable for newborns. It comes with a fully reclining seat unit, a cosy footmuff, and a raincover, making it a safe and comfortable choice from birth up to 22 kg.
What Makes the MB450 Suitable from Birth?
The MB450 Pushchair is designed with a seat unit that reclines fully, allowing your newborn to lie flat. This is essential for healthy breathing and spinal development in the early months. The included quilted footmuff adds extra warmth and comfort, while the raincover keeps your baby protected from the elements.
Are There Any Trade-offs?
While the MB450 is a great value pushchair for newborns, it does not come with a separate carrycot or bassinet. Some parents prefer a dedicated carrycot for the first few months, but the fully reclining seat on the MB450 serves the same purpose. Additionally, the pushchair is suitable only up to 22 kg, so it will last through toddlerhood but not beyond.
