Quick Answer
The Pixel Art White Refill by Quercetti is a box of 1000 white pegs that lets you keep creating new pixel art designs without running out of the most-used color.
Why You Need a White Refill
White pegs are the backbone of most pixel art designs, used for backgrounds, highlights, and light areas. When your original set runs low, a refill keeps the activity going without buying a whole new kit.
The Quercetti Pixel Art White Refill is specifically designed for the Photo Pixel Art set, so the pegs fit perfectly. It's a simple way to extend playtime and encourage more creative projects.
How to Use the Pixel Art White Refill
- Step 1: Open the refill box carefully: The box contains 1000 loose white pegs. Open it over a flat, clean surface to avoid spilling. A tray or shallow container helps keep pegs organized. Common mistake: Opening the box over a carpet or cluttered area makes it easy to lose pegs. Use a tray.
- Step 2: Sort pegs by color if needed: If you have multiple refill colors, separate the white pegs from others. This saves time when you're in the middle of a design and need a specific shade quickly. Checkpoint: Sorting beforehand prevents frustration during the creative process.
- Step 3: Refill the Photo Pixel Art pegboard: Place the pegboard on a flat surface. Pick up white pegs one at a time or use the included tool (if available) to insert them into the board. Follow your chosen pixel art pattern or create your own. Common mistake: Pressing pegs too hard can bend them. Insert gently until they click into place.
- Step 4: Store leftover pegs for future use: After finishing a design, remove the pegs and store them back in the refill box or a labeled container. This keeps your set ready for the next project. Checkpoint: Storing pegs properly prevents loss and keeps the set complete for repeated use.
