Quick answer
Open your Pusheen Tropical Vacation Surprise Plush by carefully cutting the sealed box, checking for the rare mystery design, and attaching the metal keychain to your bag.
Why unboxing care matters
Each box contains one plush, but ordering eight does not guarantee all eight designs. Because returns are not accepted for opened boxes, a careful unboxing preserves the collectible value and lets you verify the design without damaging the packaging.
The metal keychain is included for secure attachment to bags or backpacks, so you can display your plush right after opening.
Step-by-step unboxing process
- Inspect the sealed box: Check that the box is factory-sealed and undamaged. A torn seal may indicate tampering or a swapped plush. If the seal is broken, contact customer support before opening.
- Cut the seal carefully: Use scissors or a box cutter to slice the tape along the top flap. Avoid cutting into the cardboard sides, as that can tear the artwork. Cut away from the plush to avoid nicking the fabric.
- Open the box and remove the plush: Lift the top flap and gently pull out the plush. Do not shake or invert the box, as small accessories might fall out. Set the box aside in case you need to store the plush later.
- Identify the design: Unfold the plush and check for the style card or any printed markings. Look for the rare mystery design—it may have a different tag or color accent. Snap a photo for your collection log before attaching the keychain.
- Attach the metal keychain: Slide the keychain ring through the loop on the plush's back or head, then close the ring securely. Test by gently tugging. Avoid over-tightening the ring, which can scratch the metal finish.
