Quick answer
Pre-order the new Stocking figure now to secure a fully painted, display-ready collectible from Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt. Follow our guide to decide if this pre-order fits your collection.
Why pre-order a prize figure?
Prize figures like this Stocking figure are typically more affordable than scale figures, but they can sell out quickly after release. Pre-ordering guarantees you a unit at the catalog price of $18.48, avoiding aftermarket markups.
The trade-off is that you'll wait for the release window. Pre-orders also require a deposit or full payment upfront, depending on the store policy.
What to expect from this figure
This Stocking figure is a fully completed and painted prize figure, ready to display immediately. It comes from the Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt series and is produced by System Service.
Since it's a prize figure, expect a simpler sculpt and fewer accessories compared to higher-end scales. The appeal is the character representation at a budget-friendly price.
Decision rules for pre-ordering
- Check the release window: Pre-orders have an estimated release month. Make sure you're comfortable waiting that long before the figure ships.
- Review the payment terms: Some stores require full payment at pre-order, others only a deposit. Confirm the policy before completing the order. If you prefer to pay later, look for stores with deposit-only pre-orders.
- Consider the size and display space: Prize figures are usually smaller than 1/8 scale figures. Measure your display area to ensure it fits alongside other collectibles.
- Compare with in-stock alternatives: If you want the figure immediately, check if any in-stock versions are available. Pre-order is best for guaranteed availability at a set price. For instant gratification, browse in-stock prize figures from the same series.
