Quick answer

If your group thrives on teamwork and fast-paced collaboration, choose Sync or Swim. If you already own Zombie Princess and want to expand your promo collection, pick up the individual promo cards instead.

Teamwork vs. expansion content

Sync or Swim is a complete game built around teamwork, collaboration, and communication. Each round, your team plans a routine while the captain directs, and you trade and place cards under time pressure. It's a full experience for game night.

Zombie Princess Promos & Extras are not a standalone game. They are only compatible with Zombie Princess, not Rebel Princess. If you don't own the base game, these promos won't help you play.

The price difference reflects this: Sync or Swim costs more because it's a full game, while the promo cards are a budget-friendly add-on for existing fans.

Shipping and purchase limits

Promo cards are sold individually, and to keep shipping low, they ship without tracking in a fortified envelope. International customers are limited to 2 promo cards per order.

This matters if you're ordering from outside the U.S. or if you want multiple promos for a group. Sync or Swim has no such restrictions, so it's easier to buy for a gathering.

Trade-offs to consider

  • Teamwork focus: Sync or Swim is a complete cooperative game that requires communication and planning. Choose it if your group enjoys working together under pressure.
  • Compatibility: Zombie Princess promos only work with Zombie Princess. Verify you own the base game before purchasing. Check your game collection first.
  • Budget and shipping: Promo cards are cheaper but have shipping limits and no tracking. Sync or Swim is a bigger investment but a full game with no such restrictions. Factor in shipping if ordering internationally.
