Quick answer

Choose the TRIO ULTRA 3-in-1 Fast Wireless Charging Station if you want the fastest charging and a premium build for your desk. Choose the TRIO 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Station if you want reliable multi-device charging at a lower price. Both charge three devices at once, so your decision comes down to speed versus cost.

What the TRIO ULTRA and TRIO share

Both stations use a 3-in-1 design that charges up to three devices simultaneously, so you can power your phone, earbuds, and smartwatch from one spot. Neither requires multiple cables or adapters, which keeps your desk or nightstand organized. The difference is in how fast they charge and what you pay for that speed.

Price and value: what you pay for fast charging

The TRIO ULTRA is priced at USD 122.39 (compared to a catalog comparison price of USD 169.99), while the TRIO is USD 81.59 (compared to USD 119.99). The ULTRA costs about USD 41 more, which buys you fast wireless charging capability for compatible devices. If you often need a quick top-up before heading out, that speed can justify the difference. If you mostly charge overnight, the standard TRIO may be the better value.

Design and placement: desk vs nightstand

Both stations are compact and designed for a desk or nightstand, with simple placement—just set your device on the station. The ULTRA's fast charging may generate more heat, so ensure good ventilation. Neither model includes specifics on materials or warranty, so base your choice on charging speed and price rather than build details.

Trade-offs to weigh

  • Charging speed: The TRIO ULTRA offers fast wireless charging for compatible devices, while the TRIO provides standard wireless charging. Fast charging can top up your phone quicker, but only if your device supports it. If you often need a quick charge, the ULTRA is worth the extra cost.
  • Price: The TRIO ULTRA costs USD 122.39 (compared to USD 169.99), and the TRIO costs USD 81.59 (compared to USD 119.99). The ULTRA is about 50% more expensive. If budget is tight and you charge overnight, the TRIO delivers the same 3-in-1 convenience for less.
  • Device compatibility: The TRIO ULTRA's fast charging requires a compatible device. The TRIO works with any Qi-enabled device but charges at standard speed. Check your phone's fast wireless charging support before paying for the ULTRA.
