Quick answer
The Spectra Ultimate Bundle includes both the S1 Plus Premier Rechargeable Breast Pump and the Spectra Wearable Breast Pump, giving you a powerful home pump and a discreet on-the-go option in one kit. This guide covers every included item and shows you how to set up and use each pump.
What's in the box?
The Spectra Ultimate Bundle pairs two complete pump systems. You get the Spectra S1 Plus Premier Rechargeable Breast Pump, which is a hospital-strength pump with a rechargeable battery and customizable cycle settings. You also get the Spectra Wearable Breast Pump, a lightweight, hands-free pump that fits inside your bra. Both pumps come with their own collection bottles, tubing, flanges, and valves, so you have a full set for each pump right out of the box.
The bundle also includes a carrying tote and a cooler bag with an ice pack, making it easy to transport your milk and pump parts. A 9V AC power adapter is included for the S1 Plus, and the Wearable pump charges via USB (cable included). All standard flange sizes (21mm, 24mm, 28mm) are provided so you can find the best fit.
How the two pumps work together
The S1 Plus Premier is designed for primary pumping sessions at home or work. Its rechargeable battery lets you pump without being tethered to a wall outlet, and you can adjust suction level and cycle speed to match your comfort. The Wearable pump is meant for short sessions when you need to be mobile — running errands, working, or caring for your baby. It collects milk directly into a container inside your bra, so there are no dangling tubes or bottles.
Because the two pumps have different motor types and flange designs, you cannot mix parts between them. The S1 Plus uses traditional tubing and flanges, while the Wearable pump uses a closed-system insert that sits inside the collection cup. Stick to the parts included with each pump.
Trade-off: versatility vs. learning curve
The biggest advantage of the Ultimate Bundle is having two pumps that cover nearly every pumping scenario: powerful sessions and discreet on-the-go use. The trade-off is that you need to learn the different setup and cleaning routines for each pump. The Wearable pump has fewer parts and is simpler to assemble, but its motor is less powerful than the S1 Plus. For exclusive pumpers or those with low milk supply, the S1 Plus will likely be your primary pump, while the Wearable works best for top-up sessions or short outings.
How to choose and use the Ultimate Bundle
- Unbox and check contents: Open the bundle and verify you have both pump units, all tubing, flanges, valves, bottles, the carrying tote, cooler bag, ice pack, AC adapter, and USB cable. Refer to the included Quick Start Guide for a full checklist.
- Set up the S1 Plus Premier: Attach the tubing to the pump and to the back of the flange. Place the flange over your breast, center the nipple, and press the power button. Adjust suction level (L1–L5) and cycle speed (38–54 cycles/min) using the +/- buttons. Charge the battery fully before first use (about 3 hours). The S1 Plus is your main pump for full sessions; use it at home or where you have a flat surface.
- Set up the Wearable pump: Insert the silicone flange into the collection cup. Place the cup inside your nursing bra, aligning your nipple with the flange. Press and hold the power button to start. The pump runs in expression mode only; cycle speed is preset. Charge via USB (cable included) for about 2 hours. The Wearable pump is for short, mobile sessions. Expect lower output than the S1 Plus.
- Clean and sanitize after each use: Disassemble all parts that touch milk (flanges, valves, bottles, collection cups). Wash with warm soapy water and rinse. Sanitize once daily by boiling for 5 minutes or using a steam sterilizer. Air dry completely before reassembling. Keep spare parts on hand to avoid downtime between sessions.
