Quick answer
The Banpresto Relax time Kitasan Black figure is a 5.07-inch (13 cm) seated prize figure from Uma Musume Season 3, best for collectors who want an affordable, authentic character piece with a relaxed pose.
Size and pose considerations
At 13 cm (5.07 inches), this figure is smaller than many standing figures, but its seated "Relax time" pose makes it compact and easy to fit on a shelf or desk. The casual posture suits fans who prefer dynamic but not action-heavy displays.
Because it is a prize figure, the sculpt and paint are good for the price range, but you should not expect the fine detail of a high-end scale figure. The trade-off is a much lower cost and easier availability.
Authenticity and sourcing
This figure is a genuine Bandai Banpresto product, dispatched directly from Osaka, Japan. Authenticity matters because bootleg Uma Musume figures often have poor paint, off-model faces, and weak plastic. Buying from a trusted source ensures you get the real item with proper packaging.
The figure is listed as "rare" by the seller, but rarity does not always mean high resale value. It simply means it may not be restocked frequently, so if you see it at a fair price, it is worth grabbing.
Decision rules for buying this figure
- Check the size first: Measure your display area. At 13 cm tall and seated, this figure needs about 10 cm depth and width. It is smaller than a typical standing figure.
- Verify authenticity: Look for official Banpresto branding and a seller who ships from Japan. Avoid listings with stock photos only or prices far below market average. If the price is significantly lower than $28, be suspicious of a bootleg.
- Consider the pose: This is a relaxed, seated pose—not action-oriented. It pairs well with other Relax time figures but may look out of place next to dynamic battle figures.
- Assess rarity vs. need: The figure is described as rare, but that does not guarantee future value. Buy it because you like the character and pose, not as an investment. If you see it at the listed price and want it, buy it now rather than waiting.
