Quick answer

The UpSpace Bottle Organizer stores bottles horizontally with adjustable shelves, so you can fit tall tumblers or short soda cans without wasted vertical space.

Why horizontal storage saves space

Storing bottles upright wastes overhead space that could hold a second layer. The UpSpace Bottle Organizer’s horizontal cradle design lets bottles lie flat, so you can stack two rows in one cabinet depth. This works especially well for deep cabinets where bottles normally get pushed to the back and forgotten.

Adjustable shelves for different sizes

The rack has two shelf height settings. Use the taller setting for 32 oz water bottles or insulated tumblers, and the lower setting for 12 oz soda cans or short juice bottles. Switching heights takes seconds and prevents wasted gaps above smaller containers.

How to set up your UpSpace Bottle Organizer

  1. Measure your cabinet depth and height: Clear a shelf and measure the inside depth (front to back) and the vertical clearance. The rack itself is about 10 inches deep, so you need at least that much depth. For tall bottles, check that the cabinet height can accommodate the bottle length when lying flat. Common mistake: assuming all bottles fit without measuring first. A 32 oz Nalgene needs about 9 inches of clearance lying flat.
  2. Choose the shelf height setting: Locate the shelf tabs on each side of the rack. Press them inward to slide the shelf up or down. Use the higher setting for bottles over 8 inches tall, and the lower setting for cans or short bottles under 6 inches. The rack holds up to 9 bottles on the lower setting, slightly fewer on the higher setting. Checkpoint: after adjusting, place one bottle to confirm the shelf holds it snugly without tipping.
  3. Load bottles with labels facing out: Place each bottle horizontally into a cradle slot, label side up or toward the cabinet door. This makes it easy to grab the one you want without pulling out the whole rack. For soda cans, stack them two deep if the cabinet depth allows. Common mistake: overloading the rack. Stick to the 9-bottle maximum to avoid bowing the shelves.
  4. Secure the rack with non-slip feet: The rack comes with non-slip feet already attached. Place it on a clean, dry shelf and press down firmly to seat the feet. This prevents the rack from sliding forward when you remove a bottle. If the rack still shifts, wipe the shelf surface with a damp cloth to remove dust before repositioning.
