Quick answer
A 140x70 cm fitted sheet is the correct size for a 140x70 cot bed. This ensures a snug, secure fit that stays in place during sleep.
Why size matters for safety and comfort
Using the wrong size fitted sheet can lead to loose fabric that may bunch up, creating a suffocation hazard. A 140x70 cm sheet is specifically designed for a mattress of those exact dimensions, providing a tight fit that reduces these risks while keeping the mattress comfortable.
A sheet that is too large will have excess material that can shift, while one that is too small may not cover the mattress corners properly. Both scenarios compromise sleep quality and safety.
Frequently asked questions
Will a 140x70 fitted sheet fit a Mokee cot bed?
Yes, if your Mokee cot bed has a 140x70 cm mattress, a 140x70 fitted sheet is the correct size. Always measure your mattress to confirm.
Can I use a different size sheet on a 140x70 cot bed?
It is not recommended. A different size may not fit securely, leading to safety risks. Stick to the exact mattress dimensions for the best fit.
What material is best for a cot bed fitted sheet?
Look for breathable, soft materials like cotton jersey. OEKO-TEX certification adds assurance that the fabric is free from harmful substances. When shopping, check the label for OEKO-TEX certification and cotton content for comfort and safety.
