Quick answer

A laundry detergent gallon from L'AVANT Collective lasts significantly longer than standard bottles because it's highly concentrated. Using just 25ml per load, one gallon equals over 4 standard bottles, meaning you get more washes for your money and fewer plastic containers to dispose of.

The 25ml Dosage Secret

The key to making your laundry detergent gallon last is using the correct dosage. L'AVANT's concentrated formula requires only 25ml per load, which is far less than many conventional liquid detergents. This small amount is powerful enough to tackle tough stains without harsh chemicals, thanks to the gentle yet effective ingredients in the formula.

Value Beyond the Price Tag

At a catalog price of $69.76, the Laundry Detergent Gallon might seem like a bigger upfront investment, but it's equivalent to over 4 bottles of standard laundry detergent. That brings the cost per wash down significantly compared to buying smaller bottles repeatedly. Plus, the gallon size reduces packaging waste, aligning with eco-friendly laundry goals.

How to Measure Accurately

To get the most out of your laundry detergent gallon, accurate measuring is essential. L'AVANT offers a Silicone Cup designed for this purpose. Simply measure 25ml into the cup, then toss the cup directly into the washing machine for a no-mess experience. This ensures you never use more than needed, extending the life of your detergent.

Verdicts on common laundry detergent gallon myths

  • Myth: A gallon runs out as fast as a regular bottle: False. Because L'AVANT's formula is concentrated and requires only 25ml per load, a gallon provides over four times the washes of a standard bottle. Check the dosage on your detergent—concentrated formulas stretch your supply.
  • Myth: More detergent means cleaner clothes: False. Using more than the recommended 25ml can leave residue and waste product. The powerful formula tackles tough stains without excess. Stick to the dosage guide for best results and longer-lasting detergent.
  • Myth: Buying a gallon is only for large families: Not true. Even for smaller households, the per-wash cost is lower and the packaging waste is reduced, making it a smart choice for anyone. Consider the long-term savings and environmental benefits regardless of household size.
