Quick answer
The Final Girl: Bad Times At Buddyland Miniatures Retail Edition adds detailed miniatures to the Bad Times at Buddyland Feature Film, but you must already own the Final Girl core box and that specific Feature Film box to use them.
What this accessory set adds
The Retail Edition of Bad Times At Buddyland Miniatures [Series 4] is a standalone miniature pack from Van Ryder Games. It does not include any game cards, boards, or rules—it is purely a set of sculpted miniatures designed to replace or enhance the standees and tokens in the Bad Times at Buddyland Feature Film box.
Because it is a Retail Edition, you get the same miniatures as the Kickstarter version but without any exclusive extras. This makes it a straightforward upgrade for players who already have the base game and the feature film.
Compatibility requirements
This miniature set requires two separate purchases: the Final Girl core box (any season) and the Bad Times at Buddyland Feature Film box. Without both, the miniatures have no game to play. If you are new to Final Girl, start with a core box and a feature film before considering this accessory.
The set is designed for solo play only (1 player), matching the Final Girl system. It is not a standalone game.
Decision rules
- Do you already own the Final Girl core box and Bad Times at Buddyland Feature Film?: If yes, this miniature set is a direct upgrade that adds visual flair to your game. If no, purchase the core box and feature film first.
- Do you prefer standees over miniatures for storage or cost reasons?: Miniatures take more space and cost extra. If you are happy with the standees included in the feature film box, you can skip this accessory without losing any gameplay. This set is purely cosmetic—it does not change rules or scenarios.
- Are you a collector or painter?: The unpainted miniatures offer a canvas for hobby painting and add shelf appeal. If you only play and never paint, the practical benefit is lower.
