Quick answer
Keep your Walking Mushroom sticky notes flat, away from direct sunlight, and use a dedicated holder to prevent curling and dust buildup.
Why sticky notes need special care
Sticky notes are more delicate than they look. The adhesive strip can lose its tack if exposed to heat or humidity, and the paper can curl if left in a stack for too long.
For collectible anime stationery like the Walking Mushroom notes, preserving the design and adhesive is key to keeping them useful and display-worthy.
Display options: desk vs. wall
On a desk, a small acrylic note holder keeps the notes upright and visible without damaging the adhesive. On a wall, use a magnetic board or a dedicated sticky-note holder rather than sticking them directly to paint, which can leave residue.
If you want to show off the mushroom design, rotate which note is on top so the artwork stays fresh and the adhesive doesn't wear out from repeated peeling.
Step-by-step display and care routine
- Store flat and dry: Keep the sticky notes in their original packaging or a flat folder, away from moisture and heat. Avoid leaving them in a car or near a radiator. Check that the adhesive strip is not exposed to humidity.
- Use a holder, not the wall: Place them in a small acrylic or metal note holder on your desk. This keeps them upright and visible without leaving sticky residue or damaging the paper. Choose a holder that doesn't bend the notes.
- Rotate the top note: If you display a stack, rotate which note is on top every couple of days. This prevents one note from taking all the dust and sunlight. Set a reminder to rotate if you want even wear.
- Clean gently with a dry cloth: If dust collects on the notes, wipe them with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Avoid water or cleaning sprays, which can warp the paper. Never use liquid cleaners on sticky notes.
- Replace when adhesive weakens: If a note no longer sticks, don't force it. Use a glue stick or replace it with a fresh note from the set. Keep a backup note handy for replacements.
