Quick answer
Brew NutraHead tea by steeping one sachet in just-boiled water for 5–7 minutes. Reuse the same sachet up to three times for sustained focus throughout the day.
Why Water Temperature Matters for Mental Clarity
NutraHead contains delicate herbs like lavender, peppermint, and green tea. Boiling water that has sat for 30 seconds (about 200°F) extracts their calming and focusing compounds without making the tea bitter. Water that is too hot can degrade the lavender and feverfew, reducing the clarity benefit.
How to Brew NutraHead Tea for Focus
- Heat water to just below boiling: Bring fresh water to a boil, then let it sit for 30 seconds. Pour it over one NutraHead tea sachet in your cup. Using water that is too cool (below 190°F) will under-extract the herbs, leaving the tea weak and less effective for mental clarity. Use a thermometer if available; aim for 200°F.
- Steep for 5–7 minutes without stirring: Place the sachet in the hot water and let it steep for at least 5 minutes. If you prefer a stronger focus effect, steep for 7 minutes. Do not squeeze the sachet while it steeps, as this can release bitter tannins from the green tea and cinnamon. Set a timer to avoid over-steeping, which can make the tea bitter.
- Remove sachet and reuse later: After steeping, lift the sachet out and let it drip briefly. Place it on a clean saucer to cool. NutraHead sachets can be reused up to three times. For the second and third brew, steep for 6–8 minutes to extract remaining flavors. Store the used sachet in the refrigerator if you won't reuse it within a few hours.
